About The Kitchen Times
The kitchen is the most important room in the house. It’s not just a place where you prepare your food, but it has become much more than that: it has a social purpose. A kitchen has become one of the most social rooms in the house: it’s the place where you eat with your family or where you can entertain guests.
Gone are the small, basic kitchens we see in older homes. Modern kitchens are open with islands and modern appliances and fancy lighting. It’s the heart of every home.
The kitchen is also a room of memories and traditions. Parents and grandparents pass their family recipes to their children, stories from the past are told at the kitchen table… I vividly remember the days my grandmother made pancakes. Or at Christmas Eve, when my mother is busy cooking and baking the most delicious meal. These memories will last a lifetime.
I love a nice kitchen, because of it’s purpose, look and social value. That’s why I created this website. Here I’ll share the spoils of my search for beautiful kitchens and fancy appliances on the web. Hence the name “The Kitchen Times”.

A: The Kitchen Times is powered by WordPress, in combination with a couple of plugins. WordPress is our content management system (CMS) of choice because it’s easy to use and there’s a huge community behind it.
