This lovely apartment can be found in the central region of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The building itself was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer. The interior however, is a project that was completed by interior designer Gislene Lopes.
One thing you’ll notice immediately is the unusual color scheme. The use of strong colors, such as red and black, bring more personality to the kitchen. Although the design is not for everyone’s taste, I actually like it.
The glossy black kitchen cabinets reflect the natural light into the room, enhancing the sense of space. The red kitchen island and retro Smeg fridge are a nice detail. The black and white tiles add to the vintage look and feel.
